Tomorrow Evening is the big concert!
My Student Andrea Beebe will be singing, as one of the top contenders for a recording studio scholarship.
I encourage all my students and friends and family to attend. You can buy your tickets at the school or online at http://www.burlingtonpac.ca/what-s-on/event_/merriam-music-contest-_7975.html
Below is a letter from Alan Merriam.
Re: Superstar Showcase
On Friday November 9th, we will be holding one of the most significant events in our company history. That evening, some of our most talented singers, instrumentalists and song writers will be performing at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre competing for recording scholarships and the opportunity to perform in this newly designed state-of-the-art venue. We have contracted Levon Ichkhanian to produce the event (his credits include Elton John, Barbara Streisand, The Canadian Tenors, Jersey Boys, etc) and some of Canada’s premier musicians to back up this amazing line-up of young talent from our school. There will be live voting at the event and the winners will receive recording scholarships at Canada’s newest and highly celebrated Nobel St. Studios.
This initiative is the first of many interesting and unique performance opportunities we will be offering our students as we continue to expand and grow the Keyfest Methodology and further our mission of engaging families to experience the profound value of music for life.
I would like to personally invite each of you to the event so you can experience first-hand the quality of talent that our school is producing and the type of events we are planning throughout the coming years. I am confident that you will feel as proud and excited as I am witnessing the results of your hard work and dedication.
To get tickets to the event, call the box office at 905-681-6000 to place and pay for your order.
I am so looking forward to having you join me for what will surely be a very memorable evening. I would also encourage you to purchase your tickets soon while there is still availability.
Hope to see you on the 9th!
Sincerely yours,
Alan Merriam
